"Edge Punk" is a Cyberpunk (Late 80’s early 90’s) themed, 18 and over, Digital, Magazine. This Magazine uses a special type of Custom USB drive, shaped like many common objects from the 1980’s (Credit Cards, Cassette Tapes, “friendship bracelets”, Watches ect), to simulate a hidden "Cybernetic Data CHIP", that is masqueraded as a common item, that would be easily over looked by the corporate controlled authorities. This “Chip” is designed to help immerse readers of the magazine into the “underground” rebellious theme and setting of the magazine, while also allowing them Exclusive access a special version of the magazine, that simulates a Science Fiction style “Virtual reality”, similar to many popular late 80’s “Cyberpunk” style movies, such as “Blade Runner”, “Aliens”, and “Johnny Mnemonic”. The technology and magazine is carefully designed, and edited each issue, to create a fully immersive  user interface, complete with interactive buttons, animations, “gif’s”, video’s, audio cues, and other carefully crafted modern web based technologies, masqueraded as a quaint object from an 80’s aesthetic.

   We then take this specialized technology, combine it with a Fictional setting (Described below), and use it as a means to promote real world Independent media, arts, and creative non-mainstream Content. This “Modern” media, is merged into the virtual reality style simulated Magazine environment, In order to create a fully immersive experience that connects the reader of the magazine into what it would be like to read a “Virtual magazine”, if they lived in the distant future. This is also why, it is highly suggested that a person who purchases this magazine, either purchase the “Chip” (Physical) copy of the magazine, or at the very least, the “Vapor ware” (Digital) version of the magazine. However, it’s important to note, that the “vapor ware” copy of the magazine, is subject to have aberrant effects, glitches, or fail to properly load, based on the users internet connection. Which is why we strongly urge our buyers to purchase the Physical “Chip” copy, of the magazine, to get the full effect!.

   Further more, “Edge Punk Magazine” is set within the fictional post apocalyptic T.T.R.P.G. world of “Dystopia:”. Within Dystopia, the Former North America has been divided into 12 “Territories”, each of which are a type of “Dystopian apocalypse”. “Edge Punk” magazine, is based within one of these 12 Territories; The Territory of "Rain", which is the former Pacific North west, which is a walled off Cyber Punk styles setting, where the citizens who live below the cloud cover never see sunlight, and live in a society of perpetual Neon lite darkness, that is always raining. Edge Punk, takes place in the year 2222, when the outcasted, downtrodden, and impoverished citizens of the “Hive” and “lower” levels of the Mega Cities, Rose up against the major corporations of “RAIN”, refusing to conform to their corrupt forced isolation, unsafe living conditions, and unhealthy foods; the lower class people of RAIN unified against the Multinational Corporate Corruption, Aliens, Mutations, and Synthetic Creatures, to make society within “RAIN”,  a safer place for all people to live, regardless of their economic status, or “Social Credit score”.
